Krypton's Winnetou

Kryptonite's half-share sold for $175,000, making him second in line as the highest priced black alpaca ever sold. Kryptonite was a National Champion in 2003 and in 2002 was the Futurity Reserve Black Male Champion. He won 6 additional championships under many different judges and spanning 3 spring show seasons. Krypton is Kryptonite's first-born son and brings together two Accoyo lines with a massive infusion of color (both grand dams are black). Readily visible by his photograph is that he has the "WOW Factor," and his fleece is no disappointment - dense, fine, very high frequency and growing a long staple length. Please notice his 2007 micron report at two years of age. He had 5.5 lbs of this fine fleece shorn from his blanket alone. This is a male which will hugely impact any colored breeding program in a very positive direction. He was shown only in 2006 and does not need to be shown again. Fawn daughter APAR Sarah [ARI: #32073973] is a lovely, phenotypically perfect female with a soft handle. Her gray son Quasar [ARI: #35095897] had a 16.1 AFD at seven months! His crimp is incredible and his fleece is as bright as a star. Her daughter Lei Lani is a gorgeous dark brown (turning modern grey) who loves water. Medium Brown daughter Krypton's Miss Molly [ARI: #32073980] has a rich color, perfect conformation, an incredibly soft handle, and a uniform fleece. Bay black daughter APAR Moreneta [ARI: #32073959] is described by judges as having wonderful brightness, fineness, and handle. Dark brown daughter Krypton's Kryptonia [ARI: #31333771] is a strikingly attractive female whose rose grey hues are shining through. Medium brown sons APAR El Viento [ARI: #32073942] and Krypton's Winnetou [ARI: #32073867] have gorgeous fleeces with a pumpkin spice hue. They also all have big, entertaining personalities.
