Summer Hill Dark Phoenix was born at 11:45 A.M. on Thursday, October 17th, 2019. She was 16.5 pounds. Her dam, my girl Ariel Angel Dreams, has had one prior cria who is a multi. Khaleesi Angel Dreams by Commander gave birth the same day as her mother -- to a multi who looks just like her! It's in the genes! Ariel is a lovely mahogany with luster and black points. She is tall and lean and gorgeous. She is the granddaughter of AWH Boreas and related to Torbio, Uribe, MacGyver, Helios, and other famous names! She passes down her graceful frame and height. She is also a reserve champion with top 5% and 10% EPDs who gives birth with ease and without help. She has plenty of milk and is an attentive, protective mother. Wade Gease remarked in her luster, density, and lock structure! Jean is an extrovert and loves attention!

At 9:45 am, Summer Hill Happily Ever After dropped uneventfully from her dam. My mom came running into my room saying, "The baby fell out! She had the baby!" Textbook situation. Ever immediately claimed her baby and dropped the placenta. The baby readily stood to nurse (succeeding after a couple tries) while I played soothing music from my phone (which Ever promptly used her nose to silence) and spent her first evening running laps around the pen. At a petite 13.4 pounds, she is a cheery, lively little girl! She packs a powerhouse punch with her genes! Who could beat having the famous Peruvian Inca and Peruvian Torbio as their grandfathers? Merry has beautiful, lustrous pencil locks at 19.1 AFD! She placed first in the Gold Country Gathering due to her luster, fineness, lock structure, and regrowth.

Wilson was born with an extra dose of cuteness that he has never outgrown. His fiber is like spun gold and drips with luster. Because he is on the petite side, he will be our male nanny -- or manny -- to transition our weaned male crias into adulthood until they can join the big boys. And then there is his special skill -- Wilson triggers smiles! Wilson is the great-grandson of Peruvian Inca and the great grandson of Captain Morgan. We love him!

Wish his dam sharing her name with a mermaid and his sire (though named after the famous racehorse) sharing a name with a giant jellyfish, I went oceanic and named him after the giant sea creature described in the Bible: "How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; The earth is full of your creatures. There is the sea, vast and spacious, Teeming with creatures large and small. There the ships go to and fro, And Leviathan, which you formed to frolic there." -- Psalm 104:24-26 Levi's pedigree includes most of the biggest name in suri breeding: MacGyver, Captain Morgan, Uribe, Torbio, Helios, and Bruxo! His uncle is the magical Sir Oliver Twist of WAP! Black and fawn genes load his dam's pedigree, and his sire carries a lot of brown, so you can expect color! Eldest sister Khaleesi Angel Dreams by Commander is an appaloosa! His dam and granddam are tall, graceful ladies and his sire sheared 9 pounds before the age of two. His paternal sister Calista, Judge's Choice winner, is frequently complimented by judges on her lengthy staple. The odds of a massive fleece are in his favor! Levi has lustrous, coppery locks and height! His lock structure is very well defined. And his luster is insane! He's still young, but I love what I see so far! As for disposition, Levi is rather calm, but he will certainly pose for the camera. And he smiles! He loves his penmate Jolly Rancher's Xan Diego! They cush up against each other, even on hot days.

Diego is a stunning young man who drips with luster! His butt actually shimmers when he scratches an itch. He has an incredibly sweet, gentle disposition and is easily caught and touched. He loves his roommate Summer Hill Leviathan "Levi!" 1/64 Chilean, 63/64 Peruvian

St. Patty (or McPatty, as my mom calls him for some reason) has incredible, ropey lock structure and quick regrowth! His stellar genetics include Uribe, Bruxo, Inca, Silkworm, and Chachapoya!

The combination of genetics make this girl a powerhouse! Durango, Chakotah's Wyuna, Augustina, Macgyver, Torbio. All the greats tied up together in one very nice package. In her only shows of the spring, GWAS and RMAS she received 1st Places in Bred and Owned. Unfortunately, she did not have competition, but the judges were equally please with her perfect confirmation and fleece. Blue Moon is a friendly girl who loves hugs and squeaks when surprised.

Ariel is a beautiful mahogany shade that reminds me of black cherries! I am so thrilled to use her fiber. She also happens to be a reserve champion with EDP scores in the top 5% and 10%! She gave birth with ease and without help. Her daughter Khaleesi is elegant and stunning with a striking presence. It's impossible to take a bad photo of her. She's an appaloosa with incredible luster and wonderful fiber stats across the board! On October 17th 2019, Ariel and her daughter Khaleesi gave birth on the same day! Ariel has a brown female who looks a lot like her, and Khaleesi had a male that looks a lot like her! Ariel gave birth quickly and easily (and early) this time as well. She is very protective of her baby and attentive to where she is! Summer Hill Dark Phoenix "Jean" has striking luster, beautiful lock structure, good bone, etc. Her third birth, this time to a son, mirrors the above statement. She birthed a 23 pound male quickly and with ease, and she always knows where he is and what he's doing. He is dripping with luster and has incredible lock structure! He is still young, but I love the direction he is headed in.
